PSUE held an exhibition and degustation of seafood, prepared on the basis of biotechnological developments in the Institute of Food Technology and Commodity Science. A presentation on the scientific achievements of PSUE’s new food products and production technologies was provided by the International Symposium on Nanotechnology held in Vladivostok from 14-18 July 2008. The presentation was attended by Nobel Laureates, Academician Jaures Alferov and professor Leo Esaki (Japan). Guests showed great interest in the main developments of food biotechnology at PSUE and noted the high quality of seafood products at the degustation.
